Assam police’s post cautioned parents from being a “sharent” on social media. Parents nowadays shares too much information about their children on social media which may put them on risk of predators and scammers. Assam Police on its official Twitter handle shared AI- generated images to warn parents and wrote, "Likes fade, but the digital scars remain. Shield your child from the perils of Sharenting. An accident takes life of a student from Dibrugarh University, Assam, occurred at Jamugurighat in Sonitpur district. The deceased is identified as Luku Sharma, a student from Dibrugarh University, Assam. AOD implements new initiative for PMUY beneficiaries

 14.2 kg LPG cylinder has become a challenge for Pradhan Mantri Ujjawala Yojana (PMUY) beneficiaries of Assam.  The beneficiaries are not able to afford the cylinders as they are large and costs’ high. Instead of large cylinders, IOCL has decided to provide two 5 kg LPG cylinders as a refill package to the PMUY beneficiaries in Assam. Assam Oil Division (AOD) shared updates of the taken initiative that about 25% of beneficiaries have not applied for refills due to various reasons.
