ISRO Assam scientists involved in both Chandrayaan- 2 and 3 mission

On Wednesday, 23 August, people all over the country celebrated the successful soft landing of Chandrayaan-3 on the Lunar South Pole of the moon which is said to be the toughest part of the moon itself. According to the sources, Assam’s two ISRO scientists were part of the mission of Chandrayaan-3 rover on the lunar surface. Law to ban Polygamy to be enacted in the state, Assam

Oldest captive Assam’s elephant dies at 89

On Monday, India’s oldest surviving captive elephant dies at 89 years in a sprawling tea estate in Assam. On Monday, Meghalaya Social Welfare Minister Paul Lyngdoh said that Assam and Meghalaya will be holding border talks between the states on August 26, 2023.
