On Saturday, ISRO launched its mission to the Sun, PSLV-C57 carrying Aditya-L1 spacecraft, India’s first solar space observatory successfully. Detailing, PSLV lifted off from the second launch pad at the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota at 11.50am. It was PSLV’s 59th flight and 25th mission with an XL configuration. Aditya-L1 mission will study coronal heating, solar wind acceleration, coronal mass ejections (CME), dynamics of solar atmosphere and temperature anisotropy. Number of medical colleges to increase by 21, Assam

2.6 km flyover inaugurated in the state, Assam

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma inaugurated 2.6-km-long flyover from Kamakhya Gate to Maligaon in Guwahati, touted to be the longest in Assam. KSA and JSK association meeting held for peace

Amidst, border tension between regions of Northeast since past few years, Khanduli area of West Karbi Anglong district bordering Meghalaya, a committee from the regions was formed to resolve the border dispute.
