Locust Attack In Uttar Pradesh’s Prayagraj

Thu, 11 Jun 2020 : Uttar Pradesh’s Prayagraj district has become the latest victim to the attack of locust swarms on the fields blossomed with vegetation and the residential areas as well which began on Tuesday night and continued through Wednesday. However, no major loss of crop has been reported. According to local media reports, villages, such as Dharwara, Madeni Singh ka Pura, Tala, Hathsara and Lohandi have been affected by the locust swarms in Prayagraj districts. The Locusts reportedly entered Prayagraj from Mirzapur district, and prior to that the swarms were spotted in Singrauli and Sonbhadra districts on Monday and Tuesday.…
