The number of coronavirus cases in India have continued to rise at an alarming rate. According to the data available at the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the highly contagious infection has affected over 6.73 lakh people and claimed more than 19,000 lives in India so far. Nitish Kumar tested Covid-19 positive

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has tested negative for coronavirus after he gave his sample for testing due to getting in close contact with a BJP leader, who later turned out to be infected with COVID-19. “The CM’s swab sample has been taken today for Covid-19 test,” said chief minister’s public relations officer BK Shukla. Fire breaks out Kolkata highrise

Fire broke out on the 10th floor of a residential building in Kolkata''s Alipore area on Saturday evening, police said.There are no reports of any casualties, they said. Five fire tenders are at the spot to douse the blaze that broke out around 8.40 pm, police said.The entire building, located on upscale Belvedere Road, has been evacuated, a senior officer of the fire department said. Maharashtra Coronavirus Cases Cross 2 Lakh-Mark

Maharashtra’s Covid-19 tally now stands at 2,00,064 while the death toll went up to 8,671 with 295 casualties. The state has the highest number of COVID-19 cases in India, followed by Tamil Nadu, Delhi and Gujarat. 25 more dangerous Android apps have been banned by Google after they were caught stealing Facebook login details.

In June, Google removed over 50 apps from its Play Store, after discovering they contained a malicious adware which could leave Android devices unusable. A cyber security firm has now revealed a further 25 malicious apps which have been banned by Google, and is advising Android users to remove them from their devices.
