The total number of coronavirus positive cases in Tamil Nadu stands at 1,26,581 including 46,652 active cases and 1,765 deaths, according to data released by the state health department. Tamil Nadu has reported 4,231 new cases of Covid 19 infections on Thursday apart from 65 deaths caused by the disease. The numbers recorded over the last 24 hours, released on Thursday, are substantially higher than 3,756 new Covid-19 cases reported in the 24-hour period ending Wednesday afternoon.
