At least 38 employees of a national bank's main branch in Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu, have tested positive for coronavirus, officials from the bank and the local civic body have said.According to the officials, the customers who visited the bank have also been advised to voluntarily appear for coronavirus tests. Earlier, a senior official of the branch who was suffering from other complications, had died of COVID-19. Coronavirus cases in Tamil Nadu have crossed the two lakh-mark with 6,989 new cases reported in the last 24 hours, which is also the biggest single-day spike, government data shows. 10 lakh people affected in Bihar

The flood situation in Bihar continues to remain grim with over 10 lakh people affected by the deluge across the state, while the official death toll has climbed to 18. Among the worst affected districts in Bihar are West and East Champaran, Sitamarhi, Kishanganj, Muzaffarpur, Gopalganj, and Khagaria, all of which have reported flood-related deaths. New Delhi: The coronavirus recovery rate in Delhi has improved further and crossed 87 per cent as the number of active cases dipped to 12,657 - the lowest in seven weeks.
