Tribal language to be included in textbooks of Assam

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma announced about inclusion of tribal language textbooks for Assam Primary School under New Education Policy (NEP) which is to get started by next year. According to the sources, The New Education Policy (NEP) is to get started by next year, 2024, April 1 in Government schools of Assam. The Assam CM further added that, the system will be implemented in all schools of Assam by the year 2026.
