Tejashwi Yadav demands recounting of votes, says mandate in favour of Grand Alliance

L&T to construct 20KM, 4-lane road bridge

Larsen & Toubro will construct a 20 km, 4-lane road bridge across the River Brahmaputra from Dhubri to Phulbari on NH 127B for the National Highways & Infrastructure Development Corporation Ltd. L&T has emerged as the lowest bidder at Rs 3166-Crore for the project. The proposed bridge will connect Assam and Meghalaya. It will be the longest road bridge (18.36 km) over a river in the country.
