Indian researchers on KNP biodiversity loss

To understand the effects of climate change on biodiversity loss in Kaziranga National Park (KNP), Indian researchers have explored how pollen and non-pollen palynomorphs (NPPs) can help in the region. Kaziranga National Park is a corridor for immigration of members of the Indo-Malayan fauna into the Indian sub-region, which is a critical reserve for tropical species, having served as a gene reservoir for taxa during glacial periods. The study will help both public and wildlife management agencies to understand flora and fauna from the changing climate issues.

Oppositions disrespectful behavior gets suspended from Assam Assembly

Guwahati on alert zone, water leakage may take place

The Guwahati Jal Board (GJB) issued an alert that water leakages may take place within the city. According to reports, GJB is going to commence flushing and testing of the distribution network in the city. Man kills daughter-in-law in Assam

A man from Nagaon, Assam killed his daughter-in-law and also injured her daughter on Thursday night. According to the sources, the accused is identified as Muruli Tani. Also, the injured was rushed to the hospital by the police in Guwahati. Additionally, the incident took place while the husband was out for work. Projects presented by Assam gets approval

Traffic measures initiated in MG Road of Guwahati, Assam

A girl lost her life during the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) examination, the incident unfolded in Assam's Darrang district.
