Fire engulfs two train coaches near Meerut

A fire broke out in Delhi from Saharanpur passenger train numbered 04460 at Daurala railway station near Meerut. The fire engulfed the engine and two coaches of the passenger train but no casualties or injuries were reported yet and the cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained. The passengers of the train were seen pushing the train in a bid to separate the rest of the coaches from the fire-affected engine and the two compartments. Blast at illegal firecracker unit in Bhagalpur

Bhagalpur, Bihar- An explosion of high intensity destroyed a house where firecrackers were illegally manufactured, resulting in the death of eight people including a 6 month-old baby. This blast resulted in the collapse of a two-storeyed house and three other houses in the vicinity, injuring about a dozen of people. Air Force evacuates 798 Indians in four flights from Ukraine

800 Indians nearly stuck in Ukraine. They were brought back to India in four flights operated by the Air Force. Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi requested the Air Force's involvement in the evacuation process which helped in increase daily evacuations. After Russia had launched a full-blown invasion in the Ukraine, India is sending humanitarian aid and medical supplies to Ukraine. Mastercard Inc. said that it had blocked multiple financial institutions from its payment network as a result of sanctions imposed on Russia over Moscow's invasion of Ukraine.
