Fire engulfs two train coaches near Meerut

A fire broke out in Delhi from Saharanpur passenger train numbered 04460 at Daurala railway station near Meerut. The fire engulfed the engine and two coaches of the passenger train but no casualties or injuries were reported yet and the cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained. The passengers of the train were seen pushing the train in a bid to separate the rest of the coaches from the fire-affected engine and the two compartments. Bhagalpur, Bihar- An explosion of high intensity destroyed a house where firecrackers were illegally manufactured, resulting in the death of eight people including a 6 month-old baby. This blast resulted in the collapse of a two-storeyed house and three other houses in the vicinity, injuring about a dozen of people.
