Blast at illegal firecracker unit in Bhagalpur

Bhagalpur, Bihar- An explosion of high intensity destroyed a house where firecrackers were illegally manufactured, resulting in the death of eight people including a 6 month-old baby. This blast resulted in the collapse of a two-storeyed house and three other houses in the vicinity, injuring about a dozen of people. Residents said the explosion took place around 11:35 pm on 3rd march when firecrackers were stored or being manufactured.
