Projects presented by Assam gets approval

For development of Assam's infrastructure, five project was presented for Kaziranga. As per sources, the five projects were recently approved by the National Board for Wildlife (NBWL). Traffic measures initiated in MG Road of Guwahati, Assam

The Public Works Department (PWD) has announced the temporary closure of a section of MG Road at Bhoothnath and Machkhowa in Guwahati, Assam. The notification was issued due to the ongoing construction of the new flyover connecting Guwahati and North Guwahati over the Brahmaputra River. Assam HSLC candidate dies during the examination

A girl lost her life during the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) examination, the incident unfolded in Assam's Darrang district. According to the sources, the student fainted on her first day of the exam which was from 16 February. The candidate was taken immediately to the hospital and was under treatment for three days, she passed away on Sunday night. Failing to abduct, accuse tries to run over the victim, Assam

A youth from Assam, hailing from Guwahati tried to abduct a woman forcefully near the GS road area while she was back from her work. According to the sources, the accused with three other of his friends tried to abduct the woman forcefully but failed as people present in the area rescued her. Later, the accused with his four-wheelers tried to run over the victim and her friend, injuring both of them. Further, both the victims were rushed to Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH). SEBA for the first time to introduce OMR Sheet for HSLC exams, Assam

Assam's one of the biggest High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) examinations has began from 16 February and the examination is set to conclude on March 16, 2024.
