The head of the world's largest family has died in the Mizoram state. 76 year old Ziona Chana, the head of a religious sect that practiced polygamy, died on Sunday, leaving behind 38 wives, 89 children and 36 grandchildren. Two back to back earthquakes strike Manipur on Monday evening, according to the National Centre for Seismology.The two earthquakes were reported within 13 minutes of each other. Quoting the National Centre for Seismology, he said the earthquake happened at 4.10 am and the epicentre was at Zokhawthar in Champhai district on the India-Myanmar border. The tremors were felt in several parts of the state, including state capital Aizawl, he said.
