The number of active Covid cases in India fell to 4,434 with 226 new coronavirus infections in the last 24 hours, the Union Health Ministry said in an update on Monday. India reported 215 new coronavirus infections, the lowest since April 2020, taking the total number of Covid cases to 4,46,72,068, according to Union Health Ministry data updated on Tuesday.
