The controversy that was going on before the release, after watching 'Adipurush', got heated again. The Hindu Sena group filed a petition in the Delhi High Court against the Ramayana-based film directed by Om Raut. In that petition, it has been demanded to stop the exhibition of this film in public. According to Hindu Sena national president Vishnu Gupta, 'Adipurush' has defaced the image of Hindu mythological characters Rama, Ravana, Sita, and Hanuman.
