UGC NET 2024: NTA scheduled to be held in OMR Sheet

UGC NET 2024: National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the UGC NET June exam 2024 in pen and paper mode (OMR). All 83 subjects of UGC NET will be conducted in OMR sheets. Earlier, the UGC NET pen-paper mode exam was discontinued in 2019, When the authority to conduct the examination was changed from CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) to NTA (National Testing Agency). UGC NET Paper 1 and Paper 2 will be conducted for 3 hours duration and no break will be given between the two papers.

From now students with 4-year UG degrees can directly appear for NET & pursue PhD

From now students with four year undergraduate degrees can now directly appear for National Eligibility Test (NET) and pursue a PhD, according to UGC Chairman Jagadesh Kumar. Actually to pursue a PhD with or without a Junior Research Fellowship, the candidate will require minimum 75% marks in their course. Assam education courses to get enhanced for youths

The Assam Government and Tata is going to collaborate to set up a Skill Development Centre within the premises of the semiconductor facility for youths in Assam. Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said, "Today during my deliberations with the Tata leadership we agreed to create a Skill Development Centre that will be co-located within the premises of the semiconductor facility in Jagiroad."
