During his speech, the education minister has informed about the plans to remove vocational courses from higher education syllabus and integrate the vocational branch into Arts, Science, and Commerce streams. Students marked absent despite appearing for the exam

Amidst Higher secondary examination results a shocking news has come up about students being marked absent. As per reports, in different Assam's Cachar district institutes students were marked absent in several papers and most of them were in English papers despite their presence during their respective exams. The school sources has informed that the students who were marked absent were present and also appeared for the exam. Further, the board have ensured to look into the matter and corrective measures to be taken as soon as possible.

UGC NET 2024: NTA scheduled to be held in OMR Sheet

UGC NET 2024: National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the UGC NET June exam 2024 in pen and paper mode (OMR). All 83 subjects of UGC NET will be conducted in OMR sheets. Earlier, the UGC NET pen-paper mode exam was discontinued in 2019, When the authority to conduct the examination was changed from CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) to NTA (National Testing Agency). UGC NET Paper 1 and Paper 2 will be conducted for 3 hours duration and no break will be given between the two papers.

From now students with four year undergraduate degrees can now directly appear for National Eligibility Test (NET) and pursue a PhD, according to UGC Chairman Jagadesh Kumar. Assam education courses to get enhanced for youths

The Assam Government and Tata is going to collaborate to set up a Skill Development Centre within the premises of the semiconductor facility for youths in Assam.
