The Assam government is exploring the implementation of gyrocopters, also referred to as gyroplanes, for various public services such as air ambulance transportation, disaster response, and VIP movements. Gyrocopters are characterized by their ability to take off in very short distances (approximately 50 meters) and execute near-vertical landings requiring even less space (around 10 meters).
