More than 3 lakhs PMAY-G houses completed in Assam

3,00,355 houses under Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojna Gramin (PMAY-G) have been completed in Assam till date. Out of these 1 lakh has been completed since January, 2020, in spite of critical environment of COVID-19 pandemic, scarcity of materials in hill districts and also paucity of skilled Masons in most parts of the state. It may be noted that till now nearly 2,000 migrated masons have been engaged in construction of PMAY-G houses.
