CakeRMon opens third manufacturing facility in Noida, targets 280 stores by 2028

Kolkata-origin bakery and café brand CakeRMon Private Limited has expanded its manufacturing operations with the opening of its third facility in Noida on November 1, marking a major step in its North India expansion strategy. The company, part of the House of Gangurams, which traces its legacy to 1892, aims to expand its retail network to more than 280 stores by 2028.

Established in Kolkata in 2022, CakeRMon currently operates over 100 stores. Following the commissioning of its second manufacturing facility in Panchkula in May 2026, the brand expanded into Panchkula, Zirakpur, Ambala and Mohali. The new Noida unit is expected to strengthen supplies across Delhi-NCR, with Indirapuram set to host its first outlet in the region.

Under its Vision 2028 plan, the company is targeting 160-plus stores in Kolkata and West Bengal, 40-plus in Panchkula and surrounding markets, and 80-plus across Noida and Delhi-NCR. It is also exploring manufacturing facilities in Lucknow, Patna and other potential markets.

For Kolkata, the brand’s home market, the expansion signals continued investment in its manufacturing and retail operations. With a target of over 160 outlets in West Bengal, the company intends to consolidate its presence in the region while using its growing network to expand nationally.

Managing Director Anand Chaurasia said the expansion would take the House of Gangurams’ legacy of quality and customer trust to new markets. Co-founders Apurv Chaurasia and Birendra Agarwal highlighted product innovation, health-conscious offerings and scalable manufacturing as key priorities.
