Britannia Marie Gold celebrates the little moments that make Pujo special in Bengal

From a newborn’s first Pujo to grandparents sharing festive stories over cups of tea, Britannia Marie Gold is turning everyday celebrations into the centrepiece of its latest campaign, ‘My Pujo Moment of Gold’, launched across West Bengal.

The campaign invites consumers to capture their most treasured Durga Puja memories and share the stories behind them for a chance to win a gold coin. It highlights the personal experiences that shape the festival, including family reunions, neighbourhood preparations, dhaak rehearsals, pandal decorations and conversations over tea and biscuits.

Siddharth Gupta, VP-Marketing, Britannia, said, “With ‘My Pujo Moment of Gold’, we wanted to celebrate this very spirit by inviting people to share the moments that hold special meaning for them.”

Dipshikha Ravi, National Creative Director at Schbang, said the campaign captures the anticipation surrounding Pujo, from preparations to families coming together, celebrating the lasting value of festive memories.

Conceptualised by Schbang, the digital film portrays a Bengali household preparing for the festival, with new clothes, growing shopping lists, late-night adda and cups of cha shared over Britannia Marie Gold biscuits. The campaign also recognisesneighbourhood volunteers and dhaakis taking well-earned breaks after days of preparation.

The initiative reflects how brands are using cultural traditions and relatable family experiences to build consumer connections during major festivals.

Consumers can participate by purchasing a special-edition Britannia Marie Gold festive pack, scanning its QR code, uploading a photograph and sharing the story in 50 words using #MyPujoMomentOfGold. Selected participants stand a chance to win a gold coin, subject to terms and conditions.
