BPCL expands Bharatgas Lite ZIP to four Odisha cities

Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) has expanded its Bharatgas Lite ZIP LPG offering to Bhubaneswar, Berhampur, Cuttack and Rourkela in Odisha, as part of its nationwide rollout across 100 cities. The premium convenience-led proposition combines lightweight composite LPG cylinders with Instant New Connection and Express Delivery services.

The Bharatgas Lite composite cylinder is lightweight, corrosion-free and transparent, allowing consumers to view the LPG level while making handling easier. BPCL said the offering is aimed at meeting changing consumer expectations, particularly among working professionals, students, young families, senior citizens and the floating population.

In Bhubaneswar, the rollout comes amid growing demand for faster and more convenient household services in the state capital. The combination of easier cylinder handling, quicker delivery and simplified new connections could appeal to urban consumers seeking greater flexibility and reliability in everyday LPG access.

BPCL Chairman and Managing Director Sanjay Khanna said Bharatgas Lite ZIP reflects the company’s commitment to making LPG access simpler, faster and more convenient. He also acknowledged distributor partners for supporting uninterrupted services during recent supply challenges.

The Odisha expansion follows the launch of Bharatgas Lite ZIP in Mumbai on July 18, 2026, and forms part of BPCL’s broader strategy to move beyond conventional LPG delivery towards a more consumer-centric experience.
