Two unidentified militants were on Thursday killed during a search and cordon operation in north Kashmir’s Sopore. "Two militants have been killed in the operation in Sopore’s Hardshiva area. Their identities and affiliations were being ascertained,” said a police official. The encounter began early Thursday after a joint team of the Army's 22RR, Jammu and Kashmir Police and CRPF launched a cordon-and-search-operation at the spot for terrorists. The Taliban was not involved in the kidnapping of a leader of the Sikh community who was abducted by unknown persons in Paktia province of Afghanistan and his abductors would face justice from the group, the Afghan Taliban said on Thursday. New Delhi: Amid rising coronavirus cases in the national capital, the serological survey planned to be undertaken in Delhi soon, will conduct 20,000 tests across all districts and age groups. According to an official order, the exercise to be taken up with the National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), will be held between June 27 and July 10. This is part of the new COVID-19 response plan prepared by the Delhi health department, as per the recommendations of the committee, headed by NITI Aayog member V K Paul.
