Recovery rate in India stands at 60.77%

The number of coronavirus cases in India have continued to rise at an alarming rate. According to the data available at the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the highly contagious infection has affected over 6.73 lakh people and claimed more than 19,000 lives in India so far. Amid the continuous surge, the government has said that the recovery rate in India has reached 60.77 per cent as 4.09 lakh people have been cured and discharged from hospitals.
