Microsoft is introducing a new Windows 10 Start menu design that will de-emphasize its Live Tiles. The software giant first hinted at the refreshed design earlier this year, and it’s arriving for Windows 10 testers today. “We are freshening up the Start menu with a more streamlined design that removes the solid color backplates behind the logos in the apps list and applies a uniform, partially transparent background to the tiles,” explains Microsoft in a blog post. At least 113 people were killed Thursday in a landslide at a jade mine in northern Myanmar, the government and rescue workers said, the latest in a series of deadly accidents at the sites in recent years. A statement from the Ministry of Information gave the death toll as 116, while Khin Maung Win, chairman of the Thingaha rescue group working at the site, said the number of the dead surpassed 113. India's premier medical research agency the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) wants to launch its COVID-19 vaccine 'Covaxin' by August 15 in partnership with Bharat Biotech International Limited. Following much uproar, Inspector Sridhar, Sub-Inspector Balakrishnan and constable Murugan were arrested in the wee hours on Thursday, by CB-CID under IPC 302 (murder) in connection with the custodial deaths of Jeyaraj and Beniks in Tamil Nadu's Thoothukudi. The CB-CID which took over the case on 1 July arrested Sub-Inspector Raghuganesh late last night.
