While smuggling activities along the Indo-Bangladesh Border had reduced considerably after the lockdown was imposed in the month of march. The recent huge seizure made by Border Security Force indicate a sharp increase in smuggling especially cattle and dry pea.    During the month of September 2020 alone BSF seized 57,100 kg of dry pea worth more than 56 lakhs and 511 cattle head worth more than 79 lakhs in East Khasi Hills, South Garo Hills, East Jaintia Hills and West Jaintia Hills, while being smuggled from Bangladesh to India. Aligarh hospital's medical report of the Hathras Dalit woman, who succumbed to an assault by four upper-caste men, did not confirm rape, said Superintendent of Police (SP) Vikrant Vir on Thursday. Before the 19-year-old succumbed to her injuries at Safdarjung Hospital in Delhi on Tuesday, she was undergoing treatment at Aligarh Muslim University Medical College. Car Sales September 2020: MG Motor India Registers 2.71 Per Cent Year-On-Year Decline.

MG Motor India registered 2,537 units of retail sales for September 2020. If we consider year-on-year growth, the sales figures drop 2.71 per cent as MG sold 2,608 units in September last year. In August 2020, the company sold 2,851 cars. So the drop in month-on-month sales is 11 per cent.
