The company said the mascot symbolises sovereignty, trust, security and the spirit of Made in India, while simplifying conversations around cloud infrastructure and AI. According to Padma Reddy Sama, co-founder and chief technology officer, Badal is intended to strengthen BharathCloud’s identity as India’s sovereign AI cloud provider while helping the company build stronger emotional connections with customers in an increasingly competitive market dominated by global cloud players.
