Bajaj Group’s flagship CSR initiative, Bajaj Beyond, honoured local residents of Lakwa, Assam, for their courage and selfless efforts during the recent floods that affected the region.
The recognition ceremony celebrated citizens who stepped forward to help their communities, including rescuing stranded families, navigating rising floodwaters and providing relief support to neighbours during the crisis. The initiative highlighted the role of grassroots responders whose efforts helped communities cope with the impact of the floods.
Representing the Bajaj Group, a team from Bajaj General Insurance attended the event. Debojit Roy, EVP & Head – Bancassurance (RRBs & Co-operative Banks), and VikramJeetBhayana, Head of Marketing, joined the community in recognising the local heroes and reaffirming the company’s commitment to supporting communities during difficult times.
