Azamgarh was known for terrorism during SP, BSP and Congress rule: Amit Shah

Amit Shah targated the opposition parties in Uttar Pradesh, bringing up the terrorist reputation of Azamgarh and saying that rural UP only had access to 24-hour electricity “during Ramadan” when they were in power.
When laying the cornerstone for the Harihar Music College, Shah noted that Azamgarh had a reputation for terrorism under the rule of the SP, BSP, and Congress, but that under the current BJP administration, it is undergoing development.
I would want to congratulate Yogi Ji. He arranged for the construction of a music college in Azamgarh, which was once renowned as the terror capital of the nation. SP and BSP tarnished the city’s reputation for the music of the Harihar “gharana” in Azamgarh. Shah claimed that Azamgarh had issues with law and order in the past.
