Siliguri, 05 May (Retd.). In a joint effort, NJP Police, GRP and RPF successfully arrested five members of a gang involved in extortion from passengers at stations and trains. The arrested persons have been identified as Mohammad Rahbar, Wahid, Mohammad Shohrab Alam, Mohammad Javed and Mohammad Syed Alam, all residents of Araria, Bihar. According to reports, this action was taken during a special security check conducted at NJP railway station on Saturday.
