2 trains collide in Pakistan; 30 killed, 50 injured

Two passenger trains collided near Dharki, a city in the Ghotki District in upper Sindh province of Pakistan, killing at least 30 people and injuring 50 more on Monday morning. Reports suggest that the Sir Syed Express train, which was heading towards Lahore collided with the Millat Express which was derailed on the way to Sargodha from Karachi. The major accident, in which bogies of the Millat Express train overturned, took place near Dharki, a city located in the Ghotki district of upper Sindh, it said. Bengaluru ‘most liveable city’

According to the Government's 'Ease of Living Index', Bengaluru has emerged as the most liveable city in India, followed by Pune, Ahmedabad, Chennai and Surat. Out of the 49 cities ranked on livability index in the 'million plus population' category, Delhi figures 13th. More than 32 lakh people across 111 cities of India participated in a 'Citizen Perception Survey', holding a weightage of 30 per cent.Bengaluru catapulted from 58th rank in EoLI 2018 to the top, bumping down the former topper, Pune, to second place.

Interest earned during the quarter raise 36 percent to Rs 18,789.53 crore from Rs 13,858.98 crore earlier.
