Berger Paints India Limited reported a 13.2% year-on-year increase in consolidated revenue from operations to Rs 3,200.4 crore in the second quarter ended September 30, 2026, compared with Rs 2,827.5 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year.
Consolidated EBITDA, excluding other income, rose 5.2% to Rs 370.7 crore, while net profit increased 5.2% to Rs 217.1 crore from Rs 206.4 crore a year earlier.
On a standalone basis, revenue grew 11.9% to Rs 2,750.1 crore. However, EBITDA declined 4.4% to Rs 297.5 crore and net profit fell 7.3% to Rs 163.3 crore, reflecting pressure from rising raw material costs and higher advertising expenditure.
For the first half of FY27, consolidated revenue increased 12.5% to Rs 6,784.1 crore, while net profit rose 19.3% to Rs 622.1 crore. Standalone revenue grew 12.3% to Rs 5,976.7 crore.
Managing Director and CEO Abhijit Roy said the company faced sustained raw material inflation and planned further price increases from November onwards, alongside cost-efficiency measures to protect margins. He also highlighted strong performances by domestic and international subsidiaries and joint ventures.
The company said its industrial, construction chemicals and international businesses supported growth, while market share remained stable. Its new corporate campaign, “Rang BanaRahe”, also gained traction during the quarter. Forex volatility, geopolitical uncertainty and raw material supply disruptions remain near-term margin risks.
