Assam boat accident: Army to join rescue operations today

Rescue operation is continuing in Brahmaputra river in Jorhat where two boats collided and one of them capsized on Wednesday, killing one woman while at least 35-40 people are feared drowned. So far, 42 people have been rescued. "120 passengers were on the boat that capsized. A woman has died. The operation continued throughout the night. It is still underway," an NDRF official said.
