On Sunday, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sharma said that around 4,000 government institutes in the state would witness infrastructural improvements in the next five years. Sarma said the state government has taken a massive step to improve the infrastructure of 1,000 high and higher secondary schools across the state. Under the plan, infrastructural development will be done through appropriate interventions in educational institutions.
