According to sources, Excise Minister Parimal Suklabaidya said there are several areas in Assam where people drink duty-free liquor due to lack of wine shops. He said, “We have decided to set up 20 shops to ensure that people drink alcohol from genuine places and do not harm their health. In the process these people will pay taxes and get quality liquor”.
