On Saturday, Dibrugarh Bindhakata High School celebrated golden jubilee which is alma mater of Union Minister and former CM Sarbananda Sonowal. Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma also attended the celebration. During the event CM Himanta Biswa inaugurated some project for better improvement of the district. The CM inaugurated the institution's extended infrastructure which was built at a cost of Rs 3 crore. He also naugurated a 3.5KV gridless solar power production centre on the campus and laid the foundation stones for the gateway, concrete drainage system, among others.
