Pralay Ballistic Missiles :India’s First Tactical Quasi-Ballistic Missile

The decision by the Defence Ministry to acquire indigenous  short-range trajectory surface-to-surface (SRBM) missile Pralay, a traditional weapon that has become prepared for induction in precisely seven years, provides Indian military the heft to its war-fighting capabilities. A high-level meeting of the Defence Ministry cleared the acquisition of around one hundred twenty pralay missiles for the military and their preparation on the borders.
