On Thursday, India announced that it had received Pakistan's answer to a notice it had submitted more than two months before asking for a review and amendment of the 62-year-old Indus Waters Treaty (IWT) for the management of transnational rivers. The letter submitted by Pakistan's Indus Water Commissioner to his Indian counterpart was forwarded by the Pakistani Foreign Ministry on April 3, according to External Affairs Ministry Spokesperson Arindam Bagchi.

By the end of July this year, Delhi is anticipated to have 100 "world-class" EV charging stations with "the lowest charging costs in the world," according to Delhi Power Minister Atishi.She added that Delhi's EV charging costs, at less than Rs 3 per unit, are the "lowest in the world."By the end of April, 50 EV charging stations should be operational, and all 100 by the end of July, according to Atishi.

On Wednesday, Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption team’s investigation a sub-inspector from Nagaon Police station was caught red handed allegedly accepting bribe. The accused is identified as Suruzul Haque sub-inspector of Nagaon Police station. According to the sources, the inspector demanded bribe for giving relief to the complainant from old pending case. An official reported that the Maharashtra Anti-Terrorism Squad has detained a 27-year-old man in connection with the Kerala express train fire that claimed the lives of three persons on Wednesday. The official stated that the suspect had "confessed" to being involved in the fire. The suspect, named as Shahrukh Saifi, was apprehended at Ratnagiri train station in Maharashtra as a result of a combined operation by troops from the anti-terrorism squad and central intelligence, he claimed.
