According to information released on Wednesday, Pakistan’s anti-corruption agency has opened an investigation into allegations of power abuse and corruption against Lt Gen Faiz Hamid, the brother of a former ISI commander. According to a letter from the regional directorate of the anti-graft organization, the Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) Punjab is looking into claims that Najaf Hamid, the powerful brother of the nation’s former spymaster, used influence to obtain an unjustified career promotion and accumulated assets beyond his means.
