On Wednesday, Assam Police started 15 days fitness survey for the forces of all ranks to have strong, fit personals till future, Assam. Sources said, the test took place at 4th Assam Police Battalion in Guwahati for the first of fitness surveys across 36 locations.  The fitness assessment included recording the weight, height, and body mass index (BMI) of each personnel.  The all rank Police forces stood in a line participating for the test. Few days ago news was covered about a 12 years old boy of Madrasa was murdered and beheaded in Cachar district, connected to the case Police also started investigation. According to the sources, Assam Police picked teachers and Warden of the Madrasa for interrogations on Sunday. Amidst Manipur violence, a meeting was held between Manipur Chief Minister Biren Singh and Assam Rifles Chief Lieutenant General P.C. Nair for security situation in the violence hit state, Manipur. On Sunday, a 12 years old student’s body was found beheaded inside the Darus Salam Hafizia madrasa room at Cachar district, Assam. According to the sources, the deceased is identified as Rabijul Hussain. The 12 years old boy was seen last during night hours after dinner we went to sleep and the next day the boy’s body was found beheaded. Further, after police investigation three teachers and 20 students who were housemates of Hussain were detained and currently the madrasa has been cordoned off.

On Friday, Assam BJP leader allegedly commits suicide after some pictures of intimacy with other party leader goes viral on social media. The leader is identified as Indrani Tahbildar, a prominent member of the state BJP. Tahbildar held the Chamber of Commerce's vice president position and she was also treasurer of the Kisan Morcha.
