Assam schools to host special live viewing of Chandrayaan-3 moon landing

The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) said that Chandrayaan-3 which was launched on July 14, 2023 for Lunar South Pole of the moon is scheduled to accomplish a historic moon landing on August 23 at around 6:04 pm.

According to the sources, the live coverage which will be accessible on various platforms, including the ISRO website, YouTube channel, Facebook, and DD National TV.

On Wednesday, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has urged all the Assam schools for live streaming of Chandrayaan-3 moon landing for the students on August 23, 2023 i.e. today from 5:30 to 6:30 pm on the historic occasion of the country.

Assam Chief Minister on X, formely Twitter announced and said that the event should be organized in coordination with the Sarba Shiksha Abhiyan, Assam to facilitate viewing of the event by all school students.
