Revenue and Disaster Management Minister Jogen Mohan has updated as per available data about the flood affected people and area of the state, Assam. According to the reports, over 12, 95, 642 people have been affected by the flood hazard, along with, more than 23,000 houses in 3,335 villages in 109 revenue circles in the state. The minister also updated 1,106 roads have been damaged under the public works department, with 101 bridges. It has also killed 16,663 animals, adding Rs 137.2 crore has been sanctioned towards gratuitous relief and Rs 25 lakh towards rehabilitation grant.
