How Varanasi’s International Cricket Stadium will look like

The International Cricket Stadium in Varanasi is expected to be complete in 2025. Today Prime Minister Narendra Modi visired Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh and laid the foundation stone of the International Cricket Stadium. The stadium will be constructed in more than 30 acre area in Ganjari, Rajatalab. The cost to build the whole stadium is about 450 crore rupees. This stadium is a amazing structure made in history of India and it will play a real role for development of India as everyone will see it will enjoying the wonderful sports cricket.

The architecture of the Varanasi cricket stadium got inspiration from Lord Shiva, with designs developed for crescent shaped roof covers, trident shaped flood-lights, ghat steps based seating, and Bilvipatra shaped metallic sheets on the facade. The capacity of the stadium is 30,000 spectators. The spectators’ gallery of the stadium will resemble the steps of the ghats of Varanasi. Actually this stadium is third International cricket stadium in whole Uttar Pradesh after Kanpur and Lucknow.This type of construction is actually showing how India is progressing and it also show how advanced and beautiful is our architecture.
