Siliguri, 25th December: In a significant breakthrough, the officials of the New Jalpaiguri (NJP) police station recently found a stolen scooty (two-wheeler) within 12 hours of investigation. According to reports, on Sunday afternoon, the scooty owner, Saju Roy, a resident of Ambika Nagar in Siliguri, had parked his two-wheeler in front of his store when the vehicle mysteriously disappeared. Despite several attempts, he was unable to locate his scooty and consequently, filed a formal complaint at the NJP police station. Rhino killed by streak of Tigers at Orang National Park

Another unnatural death of rhino took place in Assam where a streak of tigers killed a sub-adult rhinoceros in Assam’s Orang National Park on Saturday night. Assam Government has approved Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) guidelines to construct houses for the rural area people under the Mukhymantri Awas Yojana scheme. Forest dept seizes Channa Barca fish from Dibrugarh airport, Assam

At Dibrugarh Airport, Assam Forest Department seized around 500 ‘Channa Barca’ fish which is unique and endangered worth Rs. 4.5 crore which was smuggled to Kolkata.
