Under the agreement, the two institutions will explore joint development of academic programmes, executive education, professional development courses and workforce transformation initiatives. They will also collaborate on industry-focused consulting, technical advisory services, technology assessments, research projects, innovation, intellectual property creation and technology transfer. AM/NS India will leverage its industry-integrated education initiative, NAMTECH (New Age Makers’ Institute of Technology), as a platform to support talent development, applied research and innovation. The initiative is designed to bridge the gap between academia and industry through experiential learning and industry-led curricula.

AM/NS India CEO Dilip Oommen said the collaboration would help build future-ready talent, accelerate applied research and develop solutions that enhance the competitiveness and sustainability of India’s manufacturing and steel industries. IIT Roorkee Director Dr K.K. Pant said the partnership would help translate academic research into practical and scalable industry solutions aligned with the vision of Viksit Bharat. The MoU establishes a long-term framework for collaboration to address emerging challenges and support India’s industrial growth.
