District by Zomato, the going-out platform, has unveiled a new luxury dining initiative in partnership with Kotak Mahindra Bank, offering premium, curated culinary experiences exclusively for Kotak Solitaire Credit Card customers. The programme kicked off with a Himalayan-inspired reinterpretation of Malaysian cuisine in Kasauli, led by acclaimed chefs Prateek Sadhu and Darren Teoh, followed by celebrated pop-ups like “NAAR x Dewakan” and “The Bhog Table by Chef Auroni & Bengaluru Oota Company,” which received an enthusiastic response.
Kotak Solitaire customers will get first access to intimate chef’s tables, immersive mixology experiences, and rare gastronomic events, along with privileges such as 20% savings on dining via District twice a month, priority table bookings at top restaurants, and Zomato Gold membership at ₹1. “True luxury lies in experiences that feel personal and effortless,” said Jyoti Samajpati, Executive Vice President at Kotak Mahindra Bank. A District spokesperson added that the collaboration aims to redefine India’s fine-dining culture.
Kolkata’s fine-dining scene, known for its blend of heritage cuisine and emerging global food trends, is expected to witness strong interest from affluent diners. With increasing demand for chef-driven tasting menus and premium culinary events in the city, the partnership is set to boost luxury dining aspirations among Kolkata’s elite foodie community, particularly in areas like Park Street and Salt Lake. Kotak Solitaire remains an invitation-only proposition offering up to ₹8 crore pre-approved credit lines, global banking privileges, exclusive travel benefits and access to high-end events. Reservations for District experiences can be made via the District app.
