Yuva Sur Sartaj 2024: Dedhia Music Foundation launches premier talent hunt for Hindustani classical musicians

Dedhia Music Foundation (DMF) has launched Yuva Sur Sartaj 2024, a groundbreaking initiative aimed at discovering and nurturing young talent in Hindustani Classical Music across India. Founded by Aatish Dedhia, CEO of Zycus, DMF is dedicated to promoting and preserving India’s rich musical heritage.

Yuva Sur Sartaj 2024 provides a prestigious platform for aspiring Hindustani Classical musicians aged between 15 to 30 years. The competition will be judged by renowned artists including Kaushiki Chakraborty, Rahul Deshpande, and Sanjeev Abhyankar, esteemed figures in the realm of Indian Classical Music.”This initiative seeks to bring the spotlight back to our country’s cultural roots amidst a landscape often dominated by Western music,” stated Aatish Dedhia. The competition will unfold in three stages: Call for Entries, Virtual Auditions, culminating in a Grand Finale scheduled for October 15, 2024, at Mumbai’s Nehru Auditorium. The finale will be live-streamed across various social media platforms.

Winners across two age categories (15-22 years and 23-30 years) will receive cash prizes and financial support for further classical vocal training.
