Xiaomi India has announced the launch of the REDMI Note 15 Special Edition, introducing a feature-rich smartphone focused on design, performance and all-day usability. The device sports a 6.77-inch curved AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 3200 nits, offering enhanced viewing across lighting conditions. Built with a slim 7.35mm profile and weighing around 178g, the phone comes in Crimson Reserve, Carbon Black and Frosted White finishes.
Powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset, the smartphone supports efficient multitasking and gaming. It houses a 50MP AI dual rear camera and a 20MP front camera, backed by features such as AI Erase, AI Sky and AI Bokeh. The device packs a 5800mAh battery with 45W fast charging, along with Dolby Atmos-supported dual speakers and AI-based noise cancellation. Security and durability features include an in-display fingerprint sensor, AI face unlock, IP65/IP66 ratings and MIL-STD-810H certification. Xiaomi has also promised four years of Android updates and six years of security patches.
With aggressive pricing starting at ₹17,999 (effective), local sellers believe the model could see high traction among young buyers and students upgrading to 5G smartphones. The device will go on sale from April 7 via Flipkart and mi.com, with ICICI Bank offers and no-cost EMI options available.
