Indian consumer tech brand Wobble has announced a strategic partnership with RG Cellular to expand its mainline retail presence across East India, targeting 75–80% regional coverage. The move marks Wobble’s first major offline retail push in the region with the launch of its flagship smartphone, Wobble One, at Velocity Tech Multiverse, E-Mall in Kolkata. The partnership aims to strengthen Wobble’s presence through high-footfall retail outlets, embedding the brand deeper into India’s offline market. The company said its expansion is supported by a service network spanning over 300 cities and 18,000 pincodes, ensuring after-sales support nationwide.
The Wobble One features a segment-first 50MP front camera with 4K HDR capability, Dolby Vision display, and a 50MP Sony Lytia 600 rear sensor with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS). The device is available in three variants—8GB+128GB, 8GB+256GB, and 12GB+256GB—starting at ₹26,999. Speaking on the development, Anand Dubey said the partnership reflects confidence in offline retail as a key growth driver and positions Wobble as a strong contender in the smartphone market.
Kolkata’s electronics retail ecosystem, known for high consumer footfall and strong offline sales culture, offers a strategic launchpad for Wobble’s expansion. With rising demand for mid-premium smartphones among content creators and young users, the city is expected to play a crucial role in driving early adoption and brand visibility in East India.
